IRC/Clinica de Esperanza Delivers Third Shipment to Miskito Coast

Our 3rd shipment to the destroyed northern coast made it into the Miskito coast communities. Boats, swimming, and floating supplies got this task accomplished. It has become almost impossible to get supplies in there. These supplies from IRC/Clinica de Esperanza went in with Dr. Sandra Sosa ‘s help and donations from IRC as well as local Honduran charities who are trying to help their own people. Mirna Wood is on the coast coordinating efforts. Some of the supplies went to the Mama Tara Miskito Orphanage in Puerto Lempira, Honduras. IRC/Clinica de Esperanza plans to continue efforts to this area.
