IRC Continues Feeding People in Honduras
IRC is continuing to feed the people in Honduras, and has exceeded our original fundraising goal. Based on the current global climate due to the virus, and as with extensions happening here in the U.S., we realize that doing the program until end of May might not be a realistic timeline. Even when the quarantine is lifted, we cannot be fully sure that the public transportation and jobs will immediately jump back to what it was before the quarantine began, thus leaving many Hondurans still unable to feed their families.
With that knowledge, we have decided that IRC is extending the Feeding Program and will be adding on an additional month of feeding. We will continue to keep monitoring the situation with the people in Honduras, and we will continue to keep communicating with all of you, as we go forward into the summer months to ensure we can continue to help as long as needed.
